Lower Zambezi National Park

Lower Zambezi National Park covers a remote area of 4,092 km2 along the northwest bank of the Zambezi River. Here, travelers will be able to live truly intimate safari experiences with large herds of elephants, hippos, leopards, lions and buffalo, and more than 400 species of birds. Although it is a little-known safari destination, many areas of the national park have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites thanks to the great concentration of wildlife, which can be seen up close on boat and canoe trips, hikes and traditional 4×4 safaris.
